La Lanterne Rouge Pyrénées Cycling Lodge is in the beautiful medieval village of Saint Savin in the Hautes Pyrenees. We are open from March to November and provide accommodation for cyclists only (non cycling partners are welcome). We have 6 Tour de France climbs ( Soulor/Aubisque, Borderes, Cambasque, Luz Ardiden, Tourmalet & Hautacam + many more) within 15km of our guest-house. We can accommodate 15 cyclists in our 5 ensuite bedrooms, all with beautiful views of the mountains. For larger groups we use rooms in a nearby hotel.
We serve a continental breakfast with some added extras to help with the need for carbohydrates. At 18:30 in the evening we serve dinner with lots of pasta, rice and potatoes, just what you need after a hard day in the mountains. Many of our guests say the food is the highlight of the trip.
We have a lounge area with leather seating, open log fire and French and international television. We have wifi available is all our rooms and free for your use. The house is strictly no smoking.
Order nutrition or other products from Wiggle Online Cycle Shop and have them delivered to the Cycling Lodge before your arrival. Allow 10 days to be sure.

Saint Savin is situated near Argeles Gazost in the Lavedan Valley and is within easy cycling distance of all the famous cols of the Tour de France.

Bike Storage:
We have a fully equipped bike garage with all the tools you need, from Allan keys to track pumps. There is a high pressure washer for your bike, and a washing machine for you clothes. We have supplies of PowerBars and gels to buy. We have co2 canisters that you can use so there is no problem flying with them. The nearest bike store is 2km from the lodge.
There is also a washing machine and dryer in the bike shed for your use.
With more cols than you can shake a stick at, Saint Savin is a paradise for cyclists. There are also many other activities for a day off the bike or for any non cycling companions.
Free transfers from Lourdes train station or airport. We can organise transfers from other airports with a local minibus company.
